Invitation to the Ozone2Climate Technology Roadshow and Industry Roundtable

UNEP, Foreign Economic Cooperation Office, Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP-FECO), in association with China Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Industry Association (CRAA) is organizing an Ozone2Climate Technology Roadshow and Industry Roundtable 2016 between 7th to 9th April, 2016 at New China International Exhibition Center, Beijing. CRAA is one of the co-organizers of the 27th International Exhibition for Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Heating and Ventilation, Frozen Food Processing, Packaging and Storage (CRH 2016) in Beijing from 7 to 9 April 2016. CRH is one of the three most influential annual exhibitions in the world, and the largest of its kind in the Asia and the Pacific region. More than 1,200 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and 50,000 professional visitors and trade buyers from more than 100 countries/regions are expected to join the exhibition.

With  success  of  the  Beijing  and  Shanghai  roadshow  and  roundtable; UNEP, FECO and CRAA would be arranging the 5th Ozone2Climate Technology Roadshow and Industry Roundtable as a part of the CRH 2016, it is essential to continue the engagement of industry and policy makers to discuss on approaches and strategies for overcoming the challenges to Ozon2Climate alternatives. UNEP, FECO and CRAA, jointly with other regional and national organizations will organize an industry roundtable of which the themes including the implementation process of China HCFCs phase out management plan in the framework of the Montreal Protocol, negotiation process and international situation of HFCs phase down, revised progress of safety and energy efficiency standards and research and promotion progress of Ozone climate friendly alternative technologies for R&AC, heat pump and freezing equipment at home and abroad. The Roadshow will be organized in a 500 sq. m space within a delineated area in CRH.
